They were there when I needed themMar 09 2015
I had a great experience with State Farm during my recent accident. I rear ended somebody and we agreed to exchange insurance and touch base later. State Farm had attempted to call me numerous times about the claim the other person filed. I was terrified because although I had a job, I had no extra cash and no home at that time. Amanda on the other end of the line listened to my sobbing concerns and reassured me that I had decent coverage. My claim process ended up taking a month and a half, but not on the account of State Farm. I had Texas insurance but my car had a Missouri title. So the reason it took so long was because I had to wait for my new Texas title to come before I could go pick up my insurance check. The car ended up being worth more than I had thought, and only having a $500 deductible was a great decision. I have enough for a good down payment on another used car. State Farm was wonderfully patient the whole time my title was being processed. Although I had to pay for the rental car once my car was declared total, Hertz extended the insurance rates to me, so it isn't terribly expensive. State Farm raised my rates, but the customer service couldn't be beat compared to Geico and Progressive. State Farm made things easier in a time that most things were difficult, and for that they have my loyalty.
