Rates Doubled For No ReasonFeb 08 2013
I'm a diabetic. Shelter Insurance said they could cover me after I took a blood test. I had my blood drawn and analized. The test results came back good, so went in to sign the paperwork for my policy. The agrent told me that I had to pay $280 to start the policy, so I did. For the next 3 years, I paid $48/month in premiums. For no reason, my rates jumped to $90/month. Nothing had changed with my doctors' visits or medications. I can't explain why the rates doubled and they won't help me understand.
