Paying For What Exactly?
A friend of mine has been paying for motorcycle insurance as well as their medical insurance. Was in a motorcycle accident and needs surgery but no one takes the medical insurance and no one at insurance will give him an answer.

I received a quote from Shelter Insurance and I told the rep that I'd consider it. A few weeks later a bill for same type of policy and for the same amount appeared in my mailbox. I called the rep and told him that I would not be paying for the coverage and that he needs to correct his mistake. He assured me that he would make the corrections. Rates Doubled For No Reason
I'm a diabetic. Shelter Insurance said they could cover me after I took a blood test. I had my blood drawn and analized. The test results came back good, so went in to sign the paperwork for my policy. The agrent told me that I had to pay $280 to start the policy, so I did. For the next 3 years, I paid $48/month in premiums. For no reason, my rates jumped to $90/month. Nothing had changed with my doctors' visits or medications. I can't explain why the rates doubled and they won't help me understand.
