Poor Claims Process Practices
I got into an accident in 2005 with another driver and the driver had Progressive Insurance. The other driver wasn't paying attention and ran a stop sign and sideswiped my car. I had to get a rental car because my car was completely totaled in the accident and Progressive refused to pay a dime. All of my out of pocket expenses remained my own and I lost a significant amount of money considering it took them four weeks to process the claim! Representatives don't provide you with very much information at all. They treated me as if the accident was my fault and that I deserved to wait because of it.
