Worst To Deal WithFeb 14 2013
I was rear ended by a customer of Progressive Insurance. It\'s now four weeks into the claim and they refuse to settle with me for what my vehicle is worth. First they want to take my vehicle to one of there yards due to the fact they can\'t get an adjuster out to view it for a month they state. When I say no all of a sudden within a week they are able to free one up. I find this out when I get a letter stating they looked at my vehicle and determined it a total loss. Then they find me comparison vehicles on line valued at $1000 - $2000 more than what I asked for and they still come in a thousand less than what I requested.I explained to my adjuster that the comparison vehicles have the same wear and tear and are selling for more than what I am requesting. He responds with \"that\'s the asking price\" I remind him again yes it is and when I haggle with the dealer we will be at what I am asking for.
