Slow Claims ProcessApr 09 2012
Two weeks ago, my boyfriend and I were involved in a car accident. MetLife is supposed to cover the damage since we were not at fault. It took 3 days for the adjuster to find the time to look at the car. During that time we made 10 phone calls to him, all were unanswered. The adjuster told us that he would send us a report assessing the damage. We waited a week for the report and only received one call during that time. The MetLife adjuster was supposed to make arrangement to have the repairs made, but when we contacted the repair shop, we found out that they had never heard about us or our car. When we then called the adjuster to see where the misunderstanding was, he (of course) didn't answer. This is not an example of good customer service!
