Paying For Damage I didn't DoJun 30 2011
I had a bumper-to-bumper accident with elderly man. The only issue was some of my black paint on his back bumper. He said it would be buffed out. I talked to Metlife the same day and told them EVERYTHING including that I saw a scratch near his wheel well on side, but it was already there. They told me to take my own pics, email them and to go ahead and get my car fixed. Two and a half weeks later, Metlife called and said the older man said that there is damage on his side that I caused as he did not remember seeing it before so they sent reps to take pics of his and my car. The black on man's bumper is not there and he never told them about that, but he said that the scratch and NEW DENTS on side of his car are from me. It was his word against mine. They said this little corner of panel on side of my car PROBABLY popped out and did his damage and then it popped back in...RIDICULOUS!! So I got charged with an accident and damage that I DID NOT DO.
