We were insured by Liberty Mutual. My wife was rear-ended on the freeway and the car was totaled by the insurance company. Although the other driver had insurance coverage, about one week after the accident, Liberty Mutual gave us 3 days to accept their low-ball offer for the car or they would discontinue providing the rental vehicle. Rather than supporting their client, Liberty Mutual applied the screws. We finally settled with the other insurance company for more money.
