When my premium went up again, I called my Humanna agent and asked how I could save money. I was told that I could switch over to a new plan which was covered under the new healthcare reforms. It had a higher deductible, but would end up saving me 35%. My agent emailed me the application and told me to return it filled out by the end of the month. The application wouldn't have to go through underwriting. When I called back to check on the status of the application, my agent told me that it was in underwriting and that it could take another 14 days for it to get approved. I am upset that I was misinformed!
