Poor Claims Process Practices

I joined Geico while I was in the Marine Corp, because I thought due to their company history, they would provide the best coverage. After 4 years with Geico, I filed my first claim against another Geico customer. My car was hit in a parking lot. This person parked his Jeep on top of a hill, above my car. When I came to my car, his Jeep was in my front bumper. I waited and got his info. I filed a claim. 2-3 months went by (during which I did do follow-up calls.) Finally I started e-mailing and calling Geico's claims department every day for a week. When I finally was told my claim was denied because the guy who hit my car claimed I unset his parking break.
