To make a claim, I had to draw several diagrams using a computer which made it hard to show exactly what happened. In the last 30 years I have caused no accidents. A driver was speeding through a parking lot and hit my car. There was no substantial damage, but he wanted a police officer there to make a report. He lied on record to the police and to his insurance company, Gieco. He didn't admit guilt. He said that he was parked behind me. He was not. I had 3 witnesses in the car to verify my story and disprove his. Gieco did not contact any of my witnesses. Gieco paid the driver of the other car $1,300 in damages and paid me $0. They estimated my damages to be $550. My deductible was $500.
