Cannot Make Auto-Pay Stop

My car was not working and my inspection ran out. I sold it to a guy who likes to fix cars for a reasonable amount. The problem I had auto-billing set up. When I stopped the insurance, they never stopped. I never got any bills in the mail. They were auto debting my savings account. I was being charged draft fees. I called again to stop it. My account was debted. Then I received a letter in the mail by a collections company telling me that Geico has a judgement against me for the amount of $27.89 and that I have 30 to make a payment.
