Since I have Geico for car insurance, I figured I would give them a call to get an insurance policy on my home too. I had heard that some insurance companies will give you a good deal if you combine policies under one company. I couldn't believe when I spoke to the representative that I was told that since I didn't have a current home owner's policy, I couldn't get one through Geico. I was also told that I had to have a home owner's policy from another company for a total of six months before I could get one with Geico at all! Why is Geico offering coverage that seems impossible to get?
