Avoiding Payments of ClaimsDec 03 2012
Both my parents have CNA for LTC insurance. They have dutifully paid month after month for DECADES. Now that they need care and are FULLY qualified, CNA has set up a series of hurtles and obstacles ALL INTENDED to avoid payment of claims. The customer "care" staff tries to at least be pleasant, but there is absolutely no doubt the company tries as long as possible to hold onto your money without issuing claims checks. They should NEVER be used for this or any "coverage". They could not be worse!
