This company quotes a premium and then tries to change it months after you cancel due to dissatisfaction. They also don't cancel your policy when you request it. Instead they try to hang on to you and blame their agent for it not being canceled.


After Market Parts

My car was hit by one of their account holder from the back. We have police report and the guy admit that he didn't see our car. We filed the claim and CNA said that they will take responsibility for the liability. They sent an adjuster to appraisal the damage, but the adjuster and the insurance company only agree to pay with after market parts. My car's part are original. When we called CNA again, they said that they rejected the claim because we didn't agree to get the after market parts.

Payments are Slow and Difficult

I am a nurse waiting on payments for the home-care of a customer of theirs. They don't want to pay and only pay a fraction of what they will pay an institution. Their customer is getting 24/7 personal care, better than an institution and could not hire me if she didn't have a little retirement income.

My employer had CNA and I was injured. They never answer their phones. They don't return calls. I have been given the run around several times and told different things by different reps. Then when I called a supervisor, he treated me like I was stupid and I was bothering his people after they had explained things to me several times.


Delay, deny, don't buy...

Been dealing with CNA for the last 4 years. Anything they can do to deny or delay a claim (or "review" with a delay in payment) they will. Elderly policy owners need to have a patient & consistent advocate to help them through the horrible CNA experience. Save your money & invest it instead of letting some company like CNA keep it!


No Problems with Claims

My husband was in a LTC facility and every month like clockwork he received a check for the full amount of the policy benefit. There is a 90 day waiting period which started the first day I called, not when he was later admitted to LTC. So the waiting period was over before we even needed to make a claim. I found them to be helpful, kind, and willing to do whatever it took to get things done.

6.5 years after a workplace accident, I lost a leg due to the injuries that I'd suffered. They are dragging out the settlement along. They act as though the accident was your fault. It was not.

When my parents tried to collect on policies that they had paid into for many years, they were given the complete run around with agents saying "one more review". They were making them wait 10 - 14 days each time and never payed out any monies when it was needed.


Insurance USA , USA 4.5 127.0 83 83 this company is out of compliance processing claims on a regular basis. Jim, elizabeth, gail and others in the claims dept. just don't care and even laughed at me. No one ever gets
