Careful of Cincinnati Insurance
If you do get into an accident with someone covered by this company, be prepared to have them jerk you around on the claim and offer you a very low amount for the accident that you were in.
I have had nothing, but good experiences with this company. The costs are a little higher than a lot out there, but I have not gotten dropped after making a claim/claims. They are quick to respond with claims. There is no dickering about anything. They sent the adjuster and wrote the check on the spot.
Cincinnati insurance offers good rates/service
we've never had any problems with Cincinnati and have had several claims. I'm sure it depends on the adjusters/agents in your city, but in Georgia they are GREAT!
Poor Claim Compensation
My wife struck a deer with my truck. The truck would no longer start and the ABS brake system would not reset. It all happened at the time of the deer strike yet they wouldn't fix my truck because they claimed it was a "maintenance issue". It ran fine before the strike but not after.
can't Get An Adjuster To Show Up
We returned home from vacation to find that we have a flooded basement. The after hours operator put us through to a person that confirmed that we had coverage and told us to call someone to come out and start the cleanup. We did but, now they are saying that we should have had an adjuster out prior to doing anything and our coverage may be in jeopardy. we've been trying to get an adjuster to come out since the initial call and inventory the damage, but have not been able to get any calls returned and feel we may be getting burned by them again. Be very careful with them. They are not cheap and quick to take your money but very unresponsive when you need them.
They are not the cheapest you'll find, but the coverage, service, and claims are top notch. Unfortunately we have had to use them for a house fire and I was hit separate times over the years.
Cincinnati Insurance is My Only Insurance Carrier
I handle all my insurance needs through Cincinnati Insurance. I have car insurance with the company. I have never had an accident so I have never had to file a claim; in that regard I really can't comment. But I like the price of the insurance overall, my bills are always clearly laid out and timely and I have never met with a single billing difficulty. Actually, I was satisfied enough with Cincinnati Insurance to get homeowners insurance for my apartment too. I can feel safe in knowing that I have the emergency coverage I need if my apartment has a fire, or if my stuff gets destroyed by other means. I also opted for a special plan for my valuables thorough Cincinnati Insurance - the plan covers a lot of my the rental plan doesn't; this way I have all my bases covered.
After 10 years with Cincinnati Insurance, they just canceled us because my son is "high risk". They won`t let us do multiple policies so that he can have his own insurance. Instead, they just dropped us. I myself have only had 1 ticket in 27 years, but that means nothing to this company.
Great Insurance Company
My husband hit a deer with his car. The car was totaled and we had a check in hand within a week. Wonderful claims manager to work with.
They are not a ?budget company, but their rates have become a lot more competitive. You do get what you pay for! I have had three claims over the years and Cincinnati was prompt and fair in each one. One was a lawsuit filed against me and I am very appreciative of how Cincinnati stood with me to defend me!! They went above and beyond.
