Poor Customer Service

Because I turned 60, BCBS upped my insurance by $300/month on top of the outrageous amount I already paid, so I went with another company. I left my husband on the policy. They wouldn't drop me until I proved to them I had other coverage and fill out their proper papers. I did everything they asked then an employee of BCBS said to be sure not to be charged for the month of January. He was going to cancel my auto-draft and then BCBS would send me a bill for the new amount for my husband. The status dept didn't do their job and BCBS sent me a 3 month bill for $3,000 for both of us. If not paid, my husband would be cancelled too. He can't get other coverage because of a heart stent.
