Poor Customer Service

They offered me maternity rider and my agent persuaded me to take this insurance. They did not mention specifically what they cover and what they do not cover under maternity. The insurance that I have has a very high medical deductible and equally high separate maternity deductible. When I started seeing OB doctor after I became pregnant, Assurant started to divide my claims between medical and maternity at their discretion and since nothing is defined in their contract their word seems final. It is now clear to me that I will have to pay for all of the pregnancy and my biggest worry is they will decline major charges by simply saying that they do not cover for it. Right now I am paying for a high monthly premium and all the bills since I am not meeting any of the deductibles. The customer service is terrible. They are very brief and do not give any explanation.
