My home was broken into in. I followed the necessary steps to file a claim. The rep told me put a list together with manuals for proof of ownership. Next the adjuster came out to my home a month later to do an inspection, take pictures and take a recorded statement and left another few documents. I completed those documents, gathered original receipts, had the documents notarized, and sent them back. A month later I was notified that they had not been successful in obtaining the police report, so I assisted in that. Next month came a call for another recorded statement. I did that. Allstate now wants to do a full no-holds-barred background investigation on my family. They want access to medical, work, criminal records and credit reports. They also want the right to come in my home upon request to investigation my home, take pictures, and take items. I REFUSE TO GIVE THEM ALL ACCESS!
