Less Than Mediocre Service
Aetna's pharmacy via mail order is terrible. For two weeks I have needed a prescription filled and couldn't get it accomplished. I called every single day to find out the status of my prescription only to find out it was never mailed every single time I called. I tried to explain how important this prescription was as I needed it for very serious medical condition and I always got an understanding employee who completely understood everything I was saying why I was so upset, but I never really got anywhere. Finally, I ended up having to go to my doctor just to get samples to hold me over until the whole mess was cleared up. What's really bad is that there's nothing that I can do about it because I get Aetna through my employer and the other alternative health plans that my employer offers aren't really that great either. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with this less than mediocre service.
