Their co-pays are ridiculously high and their customer service is terrible. Just yesterday I called to find out how much the co-pay would be on receiving an allergy shot, and my allergist gave me an allergy code to give them. Aetna customer service told me that I would have to just go get the shot and when the office ran my insurance they would be told what my co-pay is. They claimed there was no way for me to find out what the co-pay would be beforehand. I'm sure they'll charge me a full $50 specialist co-pay twice a week, despite it not being an office visit.
