I had a few medical issues that needed to be resolved and Aetna denied ALL of my claims on the grounds that they had no proof that I was a full time student. After NUMEROUS calls to their representatives, I provided the same proof each time and EACH TIME the rep would tell me "Ok, you should be covered. We'll fix that billing issue now." However that NEVER happened. For MONTHS afterward I was plagued by bills from the doctors offices and the issue: No proof on file that I was a full time student. Again and again I called, provided proof, and was told everything was fine. It is six months after the medical issues, and I have only TWO WEEKS AGO permanently resolved the "full time student" issue. However, now they simply state that I never made the claims in the first place...as if I never even went to the doctor and provided them with my insurance card. So I am responsible for the bills myself even though not one week ago, I talked to an Aetna rep AGAIN and they told me they mailed a check to a doctor's office...Today when I called (after receiving another bill from that doctor's office) they claimed that I had never called and that they are not responsible for the money.
