Atlantic Master Plan(R) Policyholders Rank The Atlantic Companies(R) Top Performer in Tri-State Region for Customer Satisfaction

NEW YORK, June 12 /PRNewswire/ — Auto insurance customers in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut who chose the Atlantic Master Plan(R) policy had zero complaints in the latest data from those states. The Atlantic Companies(R), which administers the Atlantic Master Plan program, was the only insurance group to post that high level of customer satisfaction in all three states.

Regulators in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut issue annual reports that tally valid consumer complaints against auto carriers for any reason, including for pricing, underwriting, renewals or claims.

Atlantic Master Plan policyholders filed zero valid complaints with the New Jersey Department of Banking & Insurance in 2006, following one complaint in 2005 and zero in 2004.

Atlantic also was the top-ranked auto insurance group with zero valid complaints in the latest data from New York and Connecticut, both of which released 2005 data in late 2006.

“Exceptional service has been our hallmark since 1842,” explained Dan Olmsted, president and CEO of The Atlantic Companies. “This performance is the most recent proof of the quality of service we deliver to Atlantic Master Plan customers, who often have complex needs due to the substantial assets they have to protect. It also indicates that we focus on the total customer experience — from product design to quoting and underwriting to policy service, claims, and renewals.”

In addition to auto insurance, the Atlantic Master Plan personal insurance program can provide home, condo, rental property, valuables, watercraft, and excess personal liability (umbrella) coverage in one package policy.
