Horrible! Grr!

I was rear-ended by a Unitrin policy holder. It took me DAYS to get in contact with a representative. The assessor who came out deemed my car a total loss. Their offer was sent via e-mail so I responded the next morning saying I accepted. When I called a week later to see why I hadn’t heard anything – they said they had been waiting for ME to respond! I filled out the paperwork and followed up AGAIN when I didn’t hear anything back. They said I had filled it out incorrectly, when actually, the representative hadn’t noticed that she was using a new form, and I had indeed filled it our properly. Then, they schedule to get my car as quickly as possible… and I’m left WAITING for my reimbursement. When I called to see why it hadn’t been received more than a week later they said the representative working on my claim was on vacation! Here’s to hoping you never get in an accident with a Unitrin policy holder! Horrible, horrible service.
