Hit and Run

I was hit by a Unitrin driver who ran a red light. He was going around 40 mph and totaled out my truck. I hit my head in the accident and had a serve headache for a week. I have no health insurance and could not afford to see a doctor. The other driver admitted he wasn’t paying attention and Unitrin told my insurance company that they will assume full liability, YEAH RIGHT!.

I’ve been without a truck for almost 3 weeks, no offer even medical to see a doctor or even a car rental from Unitrin. They were supposed to call me back several times but never did.

I have filed a request for assistance with the state of California and I’m probably going to have to sue the individual who hit me.

I have gotten a different story from every person I talked to at Unitrin. This is the most incompetent, unorganized company I have ever dealt with.. I’ve been lied to and they have tried to manipulate me. I have been driving for over 30 years and have had my share of encounters with auto insurance companies. Truly the worst insurance company,

Stay away and hope if someone hits you their NOT insured by UNITRIN DIRECT!
