Horrible! Grr!I was rear-ended by a Unitrin policy holder. It took me DAYS to get in contact with a representative. The assessor who came out deemed my car a total loss. Their offer was sent via e-mail so I responded the next morning saying I accepted. When I called a week later to see why I hadn’t heard anything continued... |

UNITRIN CLAIMS REPRESENTATIVE UNCONSCIONABLY INEPT, INSENSITIVE AND UNPROFESSIONALStrongly advising ALL consumers to "steer clear" of Unitrin. Foot-dragger on honoring claimsMy wife was hit by a car that is insured by Unitrin. Because the driver was the brother of the policy-holder they are trying to get out of paying the claim for damages. They call it a "coverage issue" and are "investigating" the situation. I guess no one there knows how to read a continued... |

They will just take your moneyIf you want to spend money for a car insurance company that doesn't pay you back when you do file a claim. Go with Unitrin. Also if god forbid you hit someone else PREPARE TO BE SUED because they won't get anything out of UNITRIN! continued... |

I Love ThemI can honestly say that I am very, very satisfied with Unitrin insurance. A year and a half ago I was in an accident when I was commuting to work. I was hurt pretty badly and I believe there was an Angel at my side that day keeping alive. My car was totaled in the wreck, and I thought my wallet would continued... |

Unprofessional Customer Service- No sense of UrgencyThese people must hate their jobs.they have no sense of urgency in helping the paying customer resolve their claim. unitrin is very hard to get a hold of on phone with a live person. it just doesn't seem as though they are on your side. they only have their own personal financial interest in mind and continued... |

The day after the accident they called us and in the rudest manner possible told us to stop all medical visits because they had determined the accident did not warrant any further medical assist. Unitrin is the worst company ever, but they paid dearly.....I had unitrin insurance, Got hit by a car cutting through an intersection on a right turn only. It was a slam dunk case right??? well, the other car had allstate, fought my horrible unitrin and they split blame. wow, even their ins company said it was a no win and they would settle. Unitrin paid 8,000 continued... |

liars liars liars...... don't believe anything they say!!!!
Absolutely awful, I got hit by one of their high risk clients who rad a red light. Totaled my truck, hit my head and almost blacked out. |
