Customer Review - United Health Care

United health care is HORRIBLE

I am a college student, unfortunately this was my school's option as a reasonable health care plan. What a Joke!!
The insurer continually claimed they did not receive the bill from the hospital. I had to call and threaten to turn them in for insurance fraud. Magically, The VERY next morning the bill showed up in my United account as being received and even partially paid.

Also they blatantly lied with what they claimed to cover by sending only parts of documents. After graduating I decided to go back to school but to an online program. They said they could still cover me and sent me a document with information that appeared I would be covered. When I researched the document that they got the information off of and continued to read down the paragraph I found out that I was actually ineligible for United because I was in an online program. Apparently they had only emailed me the part which made it look like I was covered. Scum bags!! Sad thing was this email was sent by one of there VPs. I would have paid thinking that I would be covered if anything should happen. Luckily I did not purchase the insurance.

There is a special place in Hell for the people that run that company!
It is sick with what they get away with and hopefully someday those people go to prison.
