United Healthcare Organized Criminal Organization

This is quite possibly the worst company ever. To me, they are no better than an organized criminal organization, shaking down unsuspecting subscribers, financially sinking people like a dead rival with a pair of cement galoshes. In fact, I bet if the Gambino crime family provided health insurance, it would be better than the load of crap that is United Healthcare. Just one of many run ins I have had with them, it took them 8 months and 40 hours of my time on the phone to get my Cobra benefits setup properly. And of course I had medical expenses in month 1, so by the time they figured out their heads from their asses and got my enrollment information correct, and the claims could finally be submitted, everything was denied because it exceeded the magic window for submitting claims. After submitting evidence that claims were attempted within the magic window, their current delaying tactic is sending me letters to provide them coordination of benefits information EVEN THOUGH ITS COBRA AND I HAD NO OTHER COVERAGE DURING THE TERM PERIOD. If you are in HR and this is a company you are considering going with, I would just move on. Better to not provide coverage at all than send this criminal organization any of your money.
