UNITED HEALTHCARE owes me money

My Oral and Maxifollacial surgeon stopped taking United health care because they were paying 25 cents on the dollar so he is now out of network. I had orthodontic jaw surgery in 2006 and my out of network max was $4,000. I exceeded that amount BEFORE surgery. They never reimbursed me, nor did they cover 100% after the 4K. We ended up paying him over 6K from our own pocket. When I asked for a copy of where they figured his fees they wouldn't provide it. Then I was told it was from medicare. My surgeon started out with UHC then dropped them for not paying. I hate united health care. When I read the articles about the lawsuit I found I wasn't the only one they had done this to. Thank God someone finally stood up against them. Our health care system is pathetic.
