say test is covered then deny when bill submittedI have UHC through my wife's employer. My doctor wanted me to have Ctmylogram, I called UHC twice to make sure this was covered. Even told rep both times that i would not have test at this time if it was not covered. Both times the Reps. assured me the test was covered. The hosp also verified test was continued... |

MemberI have UHC Options PPO through UMR and just switched to them a few months ago from First Choice though Meritain. UHC's network is significantly smaller, they seem to take FOREVER to process anything, and they don't seem to have that much actual care for their members. Sucks BADTHE WORST insurance company BY FAR. None of the health care professionals I need to see are covered under UHC, why? Because they suck! They don't pay on time if at all!!! Ask an office why they don't take UHC and they will tell you what I just did. continued... |

The worst health insurance ever.I got this insurance through my company so I thought "why not?", what I didn't know that it was the worst insurance ever. Do not ever ever get this insurance. UHC is HorribleI've been on PPO HSA, and am now on the more expensive plan and somehow don't feel like I am getting anything more. Service still sucks. Next year, might go outside of my company (which is cheap, probably why they use UHC) and buy my own family plan independently. I heard BCBS is pretty good. continued... |
