united american is rude and pushy!First of all, I was stupid to have purchased a united american policy when the rep Tamara Wright didn't even know what she was trying to explain to me, but I felt a little pressured, so I did. Second, when I went to actually use the benefits for prescriptions, it knocked off a whopping $1.50 from my $53.00 prescription. WTF? I tried to cancel my united american policy and never received any returned calls. After $200. a month premiums for 4 months, I realized this was getting to be a bit much and tried to reach her at the main office. I find out she no longer works there. I did manage to reach Barbara who explained I had to fax in the request for it to be effective immediately. After doing so, and in requesting a refund for the premium for this month which was just deducted, she said they didn't do refunds at all after the original 30 days. *And she was rude and kept interrupting me when I was trying to understand how they can get away with that. All she could say was it was "united american company policy". Please spare yourself a lot of aggravation and don't buy united american insurance.
