United American will Shock You!

If you're going to get insurance make sure you read the fine details of the policy, especially if you are working with United American. When I got my policy through United American, I have to say I was pretty impressed with the overall presentation provided. It's when I noted details that I grew concerned. Just when you think the policy covers something it really doesn't or there are extreme limitations to what is covered. I had to spend some time in the hospital and was shocked to find out just how much of the bill was not going to be paid by United American. A week long hospital stay ranged $17,000.00 and after all of the exclusions and exceptions, my United American policy only covered 50 percent of that! I argued with the company and couldn't understand why certain things were excluded when they clearly should be covered. So much for the customer always being right, I was forced to make payment arrangements on the remaining hospital costs.
