Unicare is a rip off!As Unicare continues to raise my rates- I still find it less expensive to go to the cheap-o clinics than one of the doctors they recommend. I was denied several claims- though I don't have pre-existing conditions. I am 30, healthy, don't smoke or drink- I run and go to the gym regularly- oh and I make large payments to Austin Regional Clinic every month for procedures that weren't nec. and because Unicare wouldn't compensate me for them. I wish I could afford a lawyer! I would recommend Unicare to my worst enemy!
