POOR Customer ServiceA USAA member hit my truck from behind causing a lot of damage. When I called USAA for the claim one item was not listed on the damage but was from the accident. USAA did everything possible not to pay for all of the damages on a rear end collision. I now will have to pay out of pocket making me a double continued... |

USAA IS NOT WHAT IS WASI have to agree with the negative comments. I have been with USAA for 20 years. I used to LOVE this company. I could not say enough good things about them. But within the past couple of years they have changed. They have lost good customer service. No matter what department you talk with, you get a continued... |

Big Rate IncreaseI had been a customer of USAA for Auto & Homeowners for 11 years. Last week I got my homeowners policy with a 24% increase and that's with never having a claim. I did some searching to see what other insurance was out there and ended up saving 35% on my auto insurance and 50% on my homeowners. continued... |

Worst insurance companyMy kids were driving my car (22 & 15 yrs old) on August 4, 2011 and were rear ended by a USAA insured driver. Turns out the driver had earlier been to the dentist and was put under for a procedure, then went to a local bar and admitted to have 4 beers. USAA picked up my car a week later then finally continued... |

Outstanding from start to finish. No jokeSo two weeks ago a woman thought she could drive across the road in front of my wife....not so much! My wife hit her broadside totaling our car. That was Monday, October 10th. On Tuesday, both my wife and the other driver (who was cited and accepted liability) gave their recorded statements to USAA. The continued... |

USAA is reliable in a world that is not
USAA is a reliable and consistent company. If you find another insurance that you are thinking about changing to, call USAA first. Look at every aspect you will be comparing (liability....) They will give you a straight answer. I promise. |

So far not impressed at allI was rear-ended by a USAA carrier while stopped at a traffic light. They continue to drag their feet on making a decision who is at fault and in the meantime, keep encouraging me to go thru my own carrier. I do not want to pay the deductible on something that was clearly the fault of their client. continued... |

Not Recommended AnymoreI am a USAA customer but not for much longer. It used to be a company I could trust and would recommend but that was more than a decade ago. The company has grown but unfortunately that has not helped. Based on recent experience, I'd say they are only an average company that no longer values the individual continued... |

Poor PrivacyUSAA offers great services to military members; at the expense of privacy. I log into USAA and feel like I am logging into a facebook account. I would not expect to find friends and family circles in my online banking. When I requested to have family members removed from my profile account, USAA reps continued... |
