Greedy, lying, unconcerned for the customers best interests

Never had a claim in over ten years except once when my car was broken into.

I was involved in my first accident with a damaged radiator and hood only, but they deemed the value was the same as the damage and wanted to total the car..I offered to pay the difference to repair it, because the car was in excellent condition otherwise.

No matter what they would not let me do anything else other than total the car...because they get to sell my car at salvage, knowing its an excellent vehicle...they get the money from that so they come out paying me, but then recoup a great portion of that by selling the car...if they had let me have it repaired they're out the whole amount...the evil adjuster told me it was whats best for me and the company, I can see how its best for state farm, but cant see any angle that its better for me.

The dealerships also say that state farm is the worst one to have in these cases, there is no room for negotiation with them. Definitely do not recommend them and I will be dropping them from my new car coverage.
