Alarm on State Farm Auto Repair Policy

For any car more than one year old, state farm request body shop to put a used or refurbished parts, such as steel wheel, drive axis.

I am scared by a used drive axis which will be put on my three and half year old car with 27000 miles.

Why would the state farm like to save money like that?
