Premium Doubled After Red Light Camera TicketI have never been in any accident or filed any claim while insured by Safeco. But, I did get a ticket for making a "rolling-right" on a red light at (going less than 1 mile per hour). This was at one of those "photo-enforced" intersections. Well, when I got my premium statement from Safeco, I was shocked to see it go from $377.20 per year all the way to $743.40 per year! I requested the Safeco agent to keep my premium the same as before or else I will cancel the policy immediately and take my business elsewhere. I am sure I will be canceling this policy, since they will most assuredly not decrease my premium.
