Nightmare Claims Service with SafeCo

I recently changed my scooter insurance from a great company (Foremost) to SafeCo hoping to save a few bucks with the problems with the economy. This is a stake that i wish I had NEVER did. I had an accident on 10/12/2008. My scooter went to a very reputable shop to look it over, and I was advised the cost to repair would exceed the book value. I decided, well this is why I pay insurance for and placed a claim with SafeCo on 10/21/2008. I have made at least five calls a day to them and they very seldom return my calls, the adjuster is now out of the office for two weeks. My big problem is that when I wrecked the bike the odometer messed up, which is very clear in the picture that was faxed to the new adjuster. They are trying to give me less than $600 for a four month old bike. I have researched the book price and have came up with book value prices being from 1600 to 1800. They are trying to deduct over 800 for high mileage when it is clearly defective (mileage). I am at my wits end over this, I could only wish I had never changed companies to save a few dollars. BUYERS BEWARE...
