Homeowners claim

Today, June 28th... I just received my "check" for a claim made in February. SAFECO is the most insulting and offensive scam of an insurance company. I had to deplete my savings account and max out credit cards to keep my work crew from walking off the job (it is hard to find good labor in this city when the season warms up as the reputable contractors are in high demand)... after paying out of pocket for months waiting for a settlement the amount would not even cover the wages for my contractor alone... much less all the other workers plumbers, casual laborers I needed to do repair after water damage from frozen pipes.... much less material costs... ZERO.

I am on the phone repeatedly talking with a petulant and rude girlish agent who hides behind her two minute recorded phone tree / mailbox and is forever put off and bothered by my contacting her. She has insisted that I use her bogus assessor then claimed later that I refused to have my contractor bid which is completely false... either she is confused our outright deceptive and I have become sickened and desperate from my dealings with SAFECO (offering me less than one quarter of what it has cost me to date and the work is not near completion).

Horrible company and anyone would do well to cancel their policy immediately.
(I'm sure all their 5 ratings / testimonials are plugged by their own employees. I would give them a minus 5 rating.
