CLAIMS NOT PROCESSED WITH PROFICIENCYI have been dealing with Safeco for over a year to seek payment for a claim for property loss in our totaled vehicle. I have found both the claims adjuster and the manager to be both abrasive. The claims adjuster would not answer the phone most of the time. I sent in receipts, pictures and documentation over and over. I did everything I was asked to do. Finally, nearly 14 months after the accident (which was not our fault), the adjuster sent a measly check for property loss in the vehicle. The amount sent to us was less than 1/3 of what was claimed, being some valuable items lost in the wreckage. We spend a fortune sticking with our insurance company and have certainly learned why we stick with a great company. Safeco was the insurance of the person who caused the accident. I have worked very hard getting this problem resolved. They think they can write me off now but I have not stopped my pursuit of this devastating and very tiring ordeal.
