Failure to pay off life insurance policy

My Father passed away in January 2009. He had a Prudential life insurance policy for 10K which has been paid up for years. 5 months of trying to settle the claim, I am pulling my hair out in frustration and have finally turned it over to an attorney. Prudential does not assign specific agents to specific policy claims. That way there is no accountability. Every time you contact them for an update, you get someone new who then has to put you on hold for 10 minutes while the pull up the claim and read up on all the previous correspondence. Then they want you to send them items previously supplied. The agents always begin with "First, let me tell you how sorry I am for your loss." Try listening to that BS 25 times. Terrible system. I will NEVER do business with these uncaring, unprofessional and incompetent goat fluffers again.
