Bait and Switch

We were thrilled with the low rate Progressive quoted us for Auto and Home. We signed up and 6 months later the premium went way up. Then the following 6 months the price again increased. We had no claims and nothing changed. It seems as if they are betting that for the first 6 months you will be problem free so they can insure you at a low rate but after that their rates skyrocket. Be careful and ask if and how much the rates will increase over time. After a year it was so high we went with another insurance company.
