100% DiasspointedAs a Progressive customer I am absolutely, 100 percent disappointed with their lack of professionalism and customer service. I was hit by a drunk driver in early 2010, was found not at fault for the accident and yet my rates rose. I've stuck with Progressive through that accident because I was told that my rates would go back down after I was renewed. I again was hit by a driver (who also has Progressive) in August, again, not my fault and again, high on some type of methamphetamine. I was told by the adjuster that all of the damage cannot be attributed to the accident and that I should take pictures of my vehicle everyday before driving it to prove that there was not prior damage to my insured vehicle. I've been made to feel as though I've done something wrong. Not only have they been extremely unprofessional but have actually been personally mean, stating that, "I guess looks don't get you everything." I'm sorry, I've done nothing wrong and no, looks absolutely don't get you everything, I never claimed that they would, please don't personally attack me because of the way I look or think I'm stupid. I was told that South Carolina does not recognize diminutive value claims when I know that they do and when my attorney told me outright that they would say this. It's been almost a month since I was hit and nothing has been done, except me changing insurance companies. I hope that all Progressive experiences are not like this, just in case they are, do your research. I would much rather pay more for customer service than ever have to go through an ordeal like this again.
