Claims

My car was stolen and recovered within 3 days, had it towed to dealership, it was there for 4 weeks and no approval was given for repairs. The appraiser spray painted the damages w/something that won't was off. My claim was turned over to an investigator who implied we might be guilty of fraud..not true, but who wants this on the record. I'm about to withdraw my claim and have the car repaired at my expense. Don't know if this will negate my record or not. They also wanted my cell phone records, itemized with incoming and outgoing numbers, it seems to me this is an invasion of privacy A rep at the Tx Dept of Insurance indicated she thought this as well, but that I should file complaint with the Dept. to get an opinion. I'm sick of the whole thing...They have policies on two autos, to houses, and a boat..Would cancel, but will this keep me from getting coverage w/another company
