they are so unfair

had a bumper to bumper accident with elderly man. only issue was some of my black on his back bumper. he said it would be buffed out. I talked to metlife the same day and told them EVERYTHING and also that I saw a scratch near his wheel well on side but it was already there..no probably..they told me to take my own pics and email and after looking at them, to go ahead and get car fixed (mine)..2.5 weeks later, metlife called and said the older man said that there is damage on his side that I caused as he did not remember seeing it before so they sent reps to take pics of his and my car (remember this is almost 3 weeks later)..the black on mans bumper is not there and he never told them about that but he said that now the scratch and NEW DENTS on side of his car are from me..so now that makes me look like a liar and as result, it was his word against mine..they said this little corner of panel on side of my car PROBABLY popped out and did his damage and then it popped back in...RIDICULOUS !! so I got charged with accident and damage that I DID NOT DO...I get so upset every time i think of this..if I did the damage I would told them when I called after accident .. why lie? but to accuse me of something that is impossible that I did is wrong...what it boils down to is..IF THEY HAD TAKEN PICS IMMED. AFTER WRECK OF BOTH CARS, I WOULD NOT HAVE GOT CHARGED WITH THIS...THEY FAILED TO DO THEIR JOB...I GOT SCREWED ROYALLY !!!
