Worst exper ever. Copy of email to the company

I would like to take the time to explain how having your insurance has been the worst experience of my life. On Aug 13 (Friday of course) my water heater broke. When I came home from work I was met with 2inches of water in my living room. First thing I did was call my wife to see if she had noticed it. She said no so I did some investigating and found the bottom of my water heater had rotten out. First thing I do is call my insurance MET LIFE. The claim process was started. I initial response from your copany was great. They were friendly and got a clean up crew to my house on a Sunday. They were awesome but had to stop when they found MOLD. Having a two year old son in the house we were eager to clean it up.My wife and I were impressed. Two days later I got a call from my adjuster Melissa Henry. She got the ball rolling..then took a week vacation. I understand that everyone needs a vacation but you should not assign her one when you know she is leaving. Her voice mail said to contact Lois Spanagle. which I did ...6 voice mails and not one call back. When I called her again she told me we were waiting on the adjusters quote to come in. It has been two weeks at this point.The adjuster you sent to my house calls me and asks me to send her a sample of my kitchen floor because met life was on her to get it done. I complied fifteen dollars later. Upon receiving it she finished her quote and our claim was approved It was Sept 2nd then. I was contacted by Melissa then stating that we would be getting a copy of the report and a check. GREAT !! Got the report on Sept 5th. ... No check... So I call and call and call. left messages and no yet no call from the people who charge $2200/ year to help me manage the ifs in life. On Thursday the 9th I call Melissa Henry asking her to call me and let me know what was going on. NO CALL BACK AGAIN!! I call her Friday the 10th and her voice mail states that she will be in the office until 11:30. I call at 8:30, 9:30 10:30. No response. Finally I call the call center and spoke to Terri. She was a god send!! She found out all the info I had been trying to get for weeks. For some reason your system had a glitch and my payment was approved but the check was never cut. Melissa knew this because she had gotten approval that morning to get it overnight ed .. BUT she never submitted it to the right people. Terri told me that melissias whole dept was in a meeting and put me in touch with MR Dobbs. He as well was awesome!! Got the check approved and ready to be sent out to me. I should get it Tues the 13th. A month is how long it took. I am so mad right now it isnt funny. I would like some answers to why no one called.. no one followed up... no one cared! My neighbor had the same thing happen and State Farm had is check in a week and house fixed in two weeks. I am still waitng for my check.
