The worst Auto coverage I've ever seen!!!

I've now learned that cheap insurance is NOT good insurance....and they aren't even the cheapest around! I wish I could give a score of "0". We've had Met Life for over 5 years--insure 2 homes, 3 cars, dental, life, and legal. We just made our FIRST auto claim...what a disaster! Customer service is rude, ignorant, gives wrong information, and flat out LIES!!! They won't call you back (I'm at 1 week and 8+ calls now), but then will LIE and falsify their notes to say they did call back. I've been hung up on, fussed at, and ignored...THIS is NOT how a PAYING customer should be treated! Worst part is, they just sent a check for $3100 for our 2001 Prius (they are selling for $6,000-$10,000 now), saying "this is how insurance works--it's not our responsibility to make sure you can afford to purchase a similar car". REALLY??? I've search a 100 mile radius, and found NOTHING close to that value! THey pointed out a car for $4200 for sale 100 miles away, stating this is the comparable vehicle they used to value my car...but it has a BLOWN TRANSMISSION!!! It can't drive! Now HOW is that comparable to my perfectly WORKING car??? I am looking for new insurance, and filing a grievance request for appraisal. I am reporting them to the state corporation commission, complaining on their Facebook page, and everywhere else I can find! I highly suggest all of their many other unsatisfied customers do the same.
