CONSULTANTWithout doubt, Met Life is the worst excuse for what should be an insurance company that I have ever experienced. Customer service is a term they haven't figured out, they constantly stall paying claims by repeatedly asking for information that had been sent STAPLED to the original claim, send reimbursement for bulk claims in a form that even THEY cannot explain to the recipient. Coverage is poor. The Feds offered it as an option as a secondary dental insurance(need I say more?!) So, again, the insurance company wins. Anyone who has it as a "benefit" loses as do all the professional offices who have to deal with it. Dental insurance is the worst thing that has ever happened to the dental profession. Dentists would be better off to reduce fees than to participate in any of them. THE ONLY WINNER IS THE INSURANCE COMPANY.
