Beware of Metlife DentalCurrently fighting this carrier to receive my "generous" 50% payment for a crown. First dental denial ever. They are blaming the dentist submitting the claim. Even worse is that I considered dropping the dental insurance during the October annual enrollment, but did not. Had the crown in December, and with the current hassle including 3 calls to Metlife already and 2 to my dentist, enrollment was a mistake. Premium $812/yr for Wife & I for maximum benefit $3000/yr total is not good math when the claims process is such a hassle. Easier to self-insure or just more Flex-med. Hindsight always 20-20. Will NOT take Metlife dental when go on COBRA later this year.
