mercury is the worst. they are ultra scummy. i recently was hit by a car that is insured through mercury. the claims adjuster with the last name of Kay...was extremely rude and accused me of interrupting her when i asked a simple question. i refused to have the call recorded as i was still gathering info (police reports, photos, witness statements, etc.) and didn't want any scatterbrained thoughts on tape. i asked if she could send me the list of questions she was going to ask me and she said no. i said i wanted another adjuster because i didn't like her tone or the way she had rudely accused me of interrupting her. she said, but you did interrupt me. it was no i didn't yes you did no i didn't. it was so stupid. i honestly felt she was just trying to mess with me and get me to give up. we went around and around...some of the dumbest conversation you've ever heard. very 'curb your own enthusiasm' kind of stuff! if you are in the unfortunate situation to have to deal with a mercury claims adjuster make sure you have your wits about you, get organized, get all your info and try to stay calm. these people are the scum of the earth representing the scum of the earth.
